Cambian Dawn
These four young bearded men are Villainous Records' token metal band. Messrs Barker, Goodchild, Kenway and Newman draw from a wide variety of styles and genres, experiment on them, and then unleash these brutal metal monsters on the unsuspecting public. Despite this they are generally regarded by anyone with taste as 'rather good'.
Charlie Khan
Cynical, sarcastic, malicious, and above all, a raving lunatic. You'll never see him without a manic grin or at the very least a knowing smirk. He likes wine, cigarettes, music, and treading the thin line between fact and fantasy.
Do not feed him after midnight.
Desmond Chancer
Desmond Chancer is the sort of midnight crooner you'd expect to find chain smoking in an empty bar in the wee hours, bawling into a microphone through neglected vocal cords. Fortunately for Desmond Chancer And The Long Memories, however, these aforementioned bars are not quite so empty, and it would seem that many are enchanted by his deep booming voice, charming persona, and marvellous musical accompaniment. Good for him.
Eric Mason
Who is Eric Mason? I personally think that he is an international man of mystery who wears pin stripe suits tailored from myths and loafers fashioned from riddles. There are many theories, but these are just theories. Who is really in control of the world? Who pulls the strings and makes things happen. Probably Eric Mason, but that in itself is just a theory.
The Martin Harley Band
Fronted by singer-songwriter, Martin Harley, this three-piece blend Americana, Traditional Blues, Rock, and pop sensibilities. With Martin's distinctive voice and slide guitar style reinforced by Double Bassist Graham Ross and Drummer Pete Swatton, these three master a sound which is both nostalgic and unique. Incredible songs and spectacular live performances the MHB is without a doubt one of the unsung heroes of the British music scene.
Rory Ellis
Rory Ellis is one of those quintessential Australian singer/songwriters with buckets of talent, heaps of stories to tell, and impossible to pigeonhole. He's got blues man in him, and some "soul-belter, red-dirt country, and home-grown folkie", to quote Jeff Glorfeld of The Age.
